Station (or in a street letter box within its district), and addressed for delivery within the district of another station, is made up and dispatched direct to the latter. These dispatches of local matter are made at short intervals throughout the day, malls being thus exchanged between the principal stations from 17 to 32 times on week days and from 3 to 6 times on Sundays.
