Resolved, That the application of Justice Marcus, Supreme Court, Eighth Judicial District, for classification in the Exempt Class of the position of court officer, be and hereby is denied, as the Commission considers it practicable to fill the position as the result of competitive examination. Resolved, That the application of Surrogate Howell, Nassau County, for classification in the Exempt Class of the position of examiner of guardian accounts, be and hereby is denied, as the Commission believes that competitive examination for the position is entirely practicable.
