Resolved, That, subject to the approval of the Governor, the classification of positions in the Exempt Class in the Department of Excise be and hereby is amended by striking out the words, "sixteen special deputy commissioners," and substituting in lieu thereof the words, "seventeen special deputy com missioners;" by striking out the words, "eleven attorneys," and substituting in lieu thereof the words, "twelve attorneys;" by striking out the words, one cashier in the Albany office," and substituting in lieu thereof the words, "two cashiers," competitive or non-competitive examination for said additional positions having been found to be not practicable.

Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department Resolved, That, subject to the approval of the Governor, the classification of positions in the Exempt Class in the Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department, be and hereby is amended by striking out the words, “two confidential attendants," and substituting in lieu thereof the words, 'three confidential attendants;" and further amended by adding thereto the words, "two confidential opinion clerks," competitive or non-competitive examination for said positions having been found to be not practicable.
