Your Journals for 1898.

IT may be presumptuous for us to suggest, for every physician knows that it is his duty to select a number of good journals to supply him with things new in medicine and surgery. He should keep in touch with progress in the departments of medicine in which he is most interested. If he is in general practice he needs several good journals devoted to general medicine, such as the MEDICAL FORTNIGHTLY, the New York Medical Journal, the Medical News, the Philadelphia Polyclinic, the Medical and Surgical Reporter, the Maryland Medical Journal, the American Journal of Medical Science and special journals like the Archives of Pediatrics for diseases of children constitute a great portion of the physician's practice. Pediatrics is also a good journal in this field. The Laryngoscope for diseases of the throat, nose and ear. The Journal of Nervous and Mental Diseases and the Alienist and Neurologist, two journals of importance to the physician; the Annals of Surgery and the International Journal of Surgery for special field of surgery; the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology (New York) for information in this great department of medicine, and many other valuable journals, which will give to the reader information so necessary to keep him out of the ruts of a routinist. Now is the time to subscribe for your journals for 1898, and the FORTNIGHTLY would be pleased to offer club rates with any medical journal published, excepting the Medical Record. We would urge all of our readers to be prompt in engaging their medical literature for 1898. So send in your list at once. Notice our special club list.
