About the author (2007)

Beatrice J. Elyť worked for the past 25 years as an earth science teacher and received international recognition for her creative teaching style. Her Monday Box Group program had such a positive effect on the participants that many remain in contact with her today. Elyť lives in upstate New York where she pursues her hobby of gardening. Catherine Southwick assisted Elyť with the manuscript for her book, Teen Success! , and is currently working on her master's degree in education.
