WAS NOT BUILT
IN A DAY"

nor can an impoverished constitution be restored in a like time.

Everything, when building up a strengthexhausted body, depends upon the patient's assimilative power.

COLASAYA

Coca-Cola-Calisaya Tonic

not only restores the appetite for food but it makes that food do the most good.

Digestion is essentially a nervous process— Colasaya feeds and strengthens the tired nerves.

It gives tone and vigor to the entire alimentary canal and nervous system-the food is absorbed as well as digested.

With good assimilation and perseverance everything is possible.

Colasaya is a palatable, common-sense tonic-an alliance of cola nut, calisaya bark, erythrox. coca, and the tissue cell-salts of iron, calcium, sodium, potassium and magnesium phosphates.

In sixteen-ounce bottles, 75c.-One dozen bottles, $8.00.
Sample sent for 25c. to pay mailing charges.

This restorative was formerly called Coca-Cola-Calisaya Tonic, a name unwieldy to use and often leading to confusion with other preparations. The word Colasaya has now been adopted.

Verge of Collapse

Colden's Liquid Beef Tonic pulls the exhausted forces together; furnishes staying and resisting power to shattered nerves; presents nutriment to perverted digestive glands in a form eagerly seized on and transformed into rich blood.

It steadily brings the whole system away from the danger point, soothing, nourishing, invigorating, building.

Wide use in hospital and private practice bears out the verity of each of these statements.

Colden's Liquid Beef Tonic commands attention throughout Europe and America.

For sale by druggists generally.

Much has been written recently on the home treatment of tubercular disease of the lungs by experienced practitioners, and it has been proven that favorable cases can get well at home. Until recently, however, everyone with consumption has been urged to remove to a more congenial climate at the earliest possible moment. He has been told to leave his business, to give up his home, family, friends, everything indeed - so that a radical change in climate might be made. Where the financial condition of the patient permits him to select the climate best suited to his case, to obtain all the comforts of home, and to secure the best of medical attention, he undoubtedly does the very best for himself, and is likely to regain his health if it is possible for him as an individual to do so. There are many people, however, who cannot afford to give up business, home and friends, and be under expense in some distant place for months and perhaps for years. These people live very comfortably at home - have everything needful and can have, if they please, some of the luxuries of life if they desire them. These people, if they leave home, are obliged to make sacrifices from the very beginning. They are under more or less mental strain, many of them are lonesome away from family, friends and associates, and the simple every-day comforts, that cost them nothing at home, they are obliged to pay dearly for, when in the land of strangers. Many of these people just mentioned who have vainly sought health in other climates, would have lived much longer, and their last days been much happier, had they remained at home; and, possibly, some of those who died might have lived had they had the care and home comforts they did not have when away.

To get well of consumption, however, means a fight, and a stubborn. fight on the part of the patient, whether he lives east, west, north or south. There are medicines, there are foods, there are gymnastic exercises, there are many things all of which will help a patient with this disease, but he must help himself, bravely, determinedly and intelligently all the time.
