The igure standing in the centre represents Lyric Puetry; while on cachi side are arrayed the sentiments called forth by her song. To her left are Pathos, looking upware as it calling upon Heavci to allar her grief; and Truth, a beautiful nude woman exhoring tire singer to riniain niithin the bounds of reason. On le utlier side of the pancare Passion, poised in eagerness un rapture; and Beauté, calm aril contentcl.
