Burst, ye emerald gates, and bring, -
By whom was David taught,
CALLED to a sense of duty, -
Children of Zion, what harp-notes, &c.
Christians, if your hearts be warm,
Come all ye sons of Zion,
Come Holy Spirit, heavenly Dove,
Come humble sinner, in whose breast,
Come let us anew, our journey pursue,
Come let us use the grace divine,
Come my brethren, let us try,
Come thou fount of every blessing,
Come, we that love the Lord,
Come ye disconsolate,
Come ye sinners, poor and needy,
DARK and thorny is the desert,
Descend celestial Dove,
Did Christ o'er sinners weep,
Drooping saints, no longer grieve,
FAREWELL, my brethren, all farewell,
Farewell my brethren in the Lord,
Farewell vain world, I bid adieu,
Fly, thou heavenly gospel message,
Friends, for whom a Savior died,
Froin Greenland's icy mountain,
From whence doth this union arise,
GLORY to God, that I have found,
Guide me,

O thou great Jehovah,
HAIL, God the Father, heavenly, &c.
Hail, sweetest, dearest tie that binds,
Hail, thou blest morn, &c.
Hail, thou once despised Jesus,

1 ye sighing sons of sorrow,
rk, listen to the trumpeters,
rk, my soul, it is the Lord,
rk! what cry arrests my ear,

dies, the friend of sinners dies,
iw can I sleep when angels sing,

w firm a foundation, &c.
iw happy every child of grace,
iw happy is the pilgrim's lot,
'w lost was my condition,
yw precious is the name, &c.
w tedious and tasteless the hours,
irk my gay friends to a melancholy sound,
KNEW I was a sinner, &c.
ove my Lord, I love his laws,
ove to steal awhile away,
n not ashamed to own my Lord,
all my Lord's appointed ways,
eyil, long I took delight,
would not live alway,
CRUSALEM, ny happy home,
sus, and shall it ever be,
tsus, my cross have taken,
sus, my all, to heaven has gone,
sus, to every willing mind,
ET every mortal ear attend,
ift up your hearts, Immanuel's, &c.
ift up your hearts to things above,
ord, at thy temple we appear,
ord, dismiss us with thy blessing,
lord, when together here wo meet,
IERCY, O thou Son of David,
Mid scenes of confusion, &c.

Millions there are on heathen ground,
My christian friends, in bonds of love,
My days, my weeks, my months, my years,
NOW behold the Savior pleading,
O CARELESS sinner come,
O could my soul this morning rise,
O for a closer walk with God,
O for a heart that loves to pray,
O for that tenderness of heart,
O how happy are they,
On Jordan's stormy banks I stand,
Once more in the Redeemer's name,
O tell me no more, &c.
O thou, in whose presence, &c.
O turn, ye poor sinners, &c.
Our dearest Lord, look from above,
Our souls by love together knit,
O when shall I see Jesus, &c.
O would the Lord appear,
O come my heart and let us take,
POOR mourning souls, in deep distress,
Pray on, my brethren, in the Lord,
SALEM'S bright king, Jesus by name,
Salvation! oh, the joyful sound,
Saw ye my Savior,
Say, sinner, hath a voice within,
See the eternal Judge descending,
Sinners, this solemn truth regard,
Sinners, will you scorn the message,
Stop, poor sinner, stop and think,
Sweet the moments, rich in blessing,
Savior visit thy plantation,
"THE day is past and gone,

The gospel trumpet has been blown,
The Lord into his garden comes,
The pleasures of earth, &c.
The pure testimony, &c.
There is a fountain filled with blood,
There is an hour of peaceful rest,
There is a land of pure delight,
'Tis a point I long to know,
To day, if you will hear his voice,
To leave my dear friends, &c.
To the flowing stream of Jordan,
'Tis religion that can give,
WATCHMAN tell us of the night,
Welcome, sweet day of rest,
What heavenly music do I hear,
What think ye of Christ? is the test,
What various hindrances we meet,
When I can read my title clear,
"When marshallid on the nightly, &c.
When shall we all meet again,
When strangers stand and hear me tell,
When thou, my righteous Judge, &c.
Where two or three, with sweet accord,
While Jesus dwelt on earth below,
While shepherds watch their flocks, &c.
Whither goest thou, pilgrim stranger,
Who but thou, Almighty Spirit,
Why sleep we, my brethren,
YE objects of sense, and enjoyments, &c.
Yes, my native land, I love thee,
Young people all attention give,
Ye blooming youth, I pray give ear,
Ye burden'd souls to Jesus come,
