This afternoon, we commence the Senate hearings on supplemental appropriations for fiscal year 1970, which were transmitted to Congress on November 24, 1969, and which are set forth in House Document 91-199. The Senate is now engaged in consideration of the tax reform bill, is meeting from 10 o'clock in the morning until late afternoon, and will continue to do so next week after the short recess which began this afternoon.
