The first plates relate rather to architecture than joinery; but in the succeeding ones will be found the most beautiful models conceivable for cabinets, bedsteads, tables, chairs, etc. with the richest and most varied ornaments. It is truly a charming series. The title to the book is in Latin, French, German and Dutch. This work must be rather rare, as Brunet, who has described in detail a great number of the less interesting works of Crispin de Pas, or Passæus, knew not this." Of the third part of this very valuable collection" la 2 Parte dell' Arch. della Vignola" I can find no mention whatever.
