COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES COLDEN, COLO. (Established 1874) HIS INSTITUTION, supported by the State of Colorado, offers complete courses in MINING and METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING. The course of instruction is four years in duration, and is both theoretical and practical. A post graduate course of two years is offered to graduates of other colleges and engineering schools who hold the degree of Bachelor of Science, or its equivalent, who desire to specialize in mining or metallurgy. The school, by reason of its situation, affords peculiar facilities for the inspection of mines and smelting works, field geology, and practical surveying. Its success in a business sense alone is attested by the rapid placement of its graduates in active positions.
