come, they were all with one accord in one place P.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost; and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance".

And the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls'.

PSALM.

GREAT is the Lord, and highly to be praised; in the city of our God, even upon His holy hill. The hill of Sion is a fair place, and the joy of the whole earth: upon the north side lieth the city of the Great King; God is well known in her palaces, as a sure refuge.

The Lord loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of Godt.

For the Lord hath chosen Zion: He hath desired it for His habitation.

This is My rest for ever; here will I dwell, for I have desired it.

I will abundantly bless her provisions; I will satisfy her poor with bread.

I will also clothe her priests with salvation; and her saints shall shout aloud for joy".

The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord's throne is in Heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try the children of men*.

In my trouble I will call upon the Lord, and complain unto my God:

So shall He hear my voice out of His holy temple, and my complaint shall come before Him; it shall enter even into His ears".

For Thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness".

They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy house; and Thou shalt make them drink of the river of Thy pleasures.

For with Thee is the fountain of life; and in Thy light shall we see light.

your sacrifices unto Me? saith the Lord *. When ye come to appear before Me, who hath required this at your hand to tread My courts? Bring no more vain oblations: incense is an abomination unto Me: the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with: it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting. Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hateth: they are a trouble unto Me; I am weary to bear them. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide Mine eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear ".

He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man ; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood: he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol: Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations: I also will chuse their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear; but they did evil before Mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not o.

Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely d;

And come, and stand before Me in this house, which is called by My name?

Is this house, which is called by My name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the Lord.

Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by My name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. And I will cast you out of My sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.

For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt-offerings or sacrifices: But this thing commanded I them, saying, obey My voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be My people; and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear; but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward".

As I live, saith the Lord God, surely, because thou hast defiled My sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall Mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity 1.

For the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of Mine house, I will love them no more 1.

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment; nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous *.
