To Hon. GEO. C. PERKINS, Governor of California:

SIR: In compliance with law, I have the honor to herewith submit he report of this department for the 32d Fiscal Year, ending sune 30, 1881, and the 33d Fiscal Year, ending June 30, 1882, imbracing exhibits showing the receipts and disbursements in supbort of the State Government, the condition of the several funds of he treasury, and such other information as is made the duty of the Jontroller to report.

Tabulated statements showing in detail the various transactions, vill be found in the Appendix, arranged under appropriate headings, properly indexed.
