Walton Pennewill, of the Fifteenth district, to qualify; re-elected in November, 1898. LESLIE YATES, Philadelphia, was born in that city, May 18, 1853; was educated in the public and private schools; learned the printing trade and for a number of years was manager of the Dunlap and Clark Printing House; was deputy collector of delinquent taxes during two terms; is president of the Wm. B. Ahern Republican Association; has been secretary of the Thirteenth ward executive committee for seventeen years, and for several years a member of the executive committee of the State League of Republican Clubs; was elected to the House of Representatives in November, 1898.

ROBERT KENNEDY YOUNG, Tioga county, was born at Wellsboro, Tioga county, Pa., June 14, 1861; educated in the public schools and at Concord, New Hampshire; studied law with Major George W. Merrick, at Wellsboro, Pa., and was admitted to the Tioga county bar in August, 1885; in January, 1886, formed the law partnership of Merrick & Young, at Wellsboro, Pa., with his former preceptor; is secretary of the Tioga County Bar Association, and is also secretary of the Wellsboro Electric Company; elected justice of the peace in 1889, and delegate to the Republican State convention of 1895; was elected to the House of Representatives in 1896; re-elected in November, 1898.

GEORGE W. YOUNGSON, Westmoreland county, was born in Pittsburg, December 23, 1863; attended Second ward public school and is a graduate of Pittsburg Central High Schocl; was clerk on steamboats plying on Ohio and Mississippi rivers for four years; has been in employ of Pennsylvania Company for ten years; was chairman of Westmoreland Republican county convention in 1896, and served one term as a member of the council of the borough of Parnassus, where he resides; was elected to the House of Representatives in November, 1898.

THOMAS T. ZERBE, Lebanon county, was born at Schaefferstown, that county, October 24, 1846; was educated in the public schools, Schaefferstown Academy, Franklin and Marshall College and the Medical Department of the University of Pennsylvania; since 1869 has been practicing medicine at Schaefferstown; was school director for three years; was elected to the House of Representatives in November, 1898.
