To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant, &c. God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us.-Heb. vi. 17, 18. The bread of God, is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world, &c. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me, shall never hunger, &c.
