The famous beauty of Charles II.'s Court. Pepys calls her "the fair Madam Middleton," and Evelyn "that famous and indeed incomparable Beauty. St. Lambeth, but unrecorded in the Register. Evremond wrote an epitaph on her, and there is mention of her in the Memoirs of de Gramont.
