These sumptuous volumes were edited by Dr. Lee, author of the "Directorum
Anglicanum."

**Each volume of the above set is bound in a different style; the Altar
Service in heavy gros-grained levant, with heavy brass corners, in which are
inserted marbles, serving as bosses, and a very heavy cross in the centre field.
The 4to. volumes are ornamented with elaborate tooling of a Grolier pattern,
with broad inside borders, &c.

This fine set was imported by the owner at a cost of £18. 188.

This valuable publication originated with Robert Dodsley, at the suggestion

contains many most powerful and valuable articles from his pen; and forms our
most valuable record of historical and political events during the last hundred

years.
