This Board is vested with the general supervision of the interests of the health of the citizens of the State, they having power to make regulations as are deemed necessary for the preservation of the public health, and in all matters of quarantine they establish rules. The meetings of the Board are held the first Thursday in May and November, of each year, at the office of the Secretary, in the Capitol. The Boardof (Medical) Examiners consists of the physicians of the Board of Health and its Secretary.
