The old man and the sea. All my life the good people are the sailfish that the sharks bite at. For the first time ever, in seeing so much of his writing as individual quotes, and wisdom, the notion of being the fish who bites at a much bigger fishes understanding is not so upsetting.
I admit to you that i am a minnow when compared to him. But in his writings we are all made to feel like wise plankton eating whales or nurse sharks. So terrible in our power we might be something much more toothed. His wisdom is to radiate goodness.
