persons who shall have any of the trust moneys in their, his, or her hands, and shall pay the same to the said trustees or trustee, shall be a sufficient discharge or discharges for so much money as in such receipt or receipts shall be expressed to be received; and that after taking such receipt or receipts, the person or persons aforesaid shall not be obliged to see to the application, or be answerable or accountable for the misapplication or non-application of the same money or any part thereof; provided also, that in case either of my execut hereinafter named, or any future trustee or trustees to be appointed under this provision in their place, or the place of any of them who shall die, or become unwilling or unable to act in the aforesaid trusts, before the said trusts shall be fully executed and performed, then, and as often as the same shall happen, it shall be lawful for the surviving or continuing trustee or trustees of this my will, or the execut or administrat of the last surviving trustee, to nominate any fit person or persons to supply the place or places of the trustee or trustees respectively so dying, or becoming unwilling, or unable to act as aforesaid; and that immediately after every such appointment, the said trust moneys, stocks, funds, or securities, shall be assigned and transferred, so and as that the same may vest in such new trustee or trustees jointly with the surviving or continuing trustee or trustees, or in such new trustee or trustees solely, as the case may require, subject to the trusts aforesaid ; and such new trustee or trustees shall be competent to exercise all the powers and authorities whatsoever herein before contained, in the same manner, to all intents and purposes, as if he or they had been appointed a trustee or trustees in and by this my will provided also, that my said execut hereby appointed, and also the trustee or trustees to be appointed by virtue of the provision lastly hereinbefore contained, severally and respectively, and their several and respective heirs, execut and administrat shall be

charged and chargeable with such sums of money only as they shall respectively actually receive by virtue of the trusts hereby reposed in them, notwithstanding their joining in signing any receipt or receipts, or doing any other act for the sake of conformity; and that they or any of them, shall not be answerable or accountable for any misfortune, loss, or damage which may happen in the execution of the aforesaid trusts, or in relation thereto (except the same shall happen by or through his, her, or their own wilful act, neglect, or default), and in that case each person shall be answerable only for such loss or damage as shall arise from his own act, neglect, or default. Provided also, that it shall be lawful for my execut herein named, and such future trustee or trustees, to be appointed as aforesaid, severally and respectively, and their several and respective heirs, execut and administrat by and out of the moneys which shall come to their hands by virtue of the trusts aforesaid, to deduct, retain, and reimburse to and for himself and themselves, respectively; and also, to allow to each other all costs, charges, damages, and expenses and fees to counsel, for advice, which they or any of them may sustain or incur in or about the execution of the aforesaid trusts, or in relation thereto. I direct that all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses be paid and satisfied by my execut hereinafter named, as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. I give, devise, and bequeath all and every my household furniture, linen, and wearing apparel, books, plate, china, pictures, horses, carts, and carriages, and also, all and every sum and sums of money which may be found in my house, or be about my person, or due to me at the time of my decease; and also, all my stocks, funds, and securities for money, money due on bonds, bills, notes, or other securities; and as to all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, and effects whatsoever and wheresoever, both real and personal, whether in possession, reversion, remainder, or expectancy; I give, devise, and bequeath the same unto

Letter of Attorney by a Seaman; or a Will and Power. KNOW all men by these presents, that I for divers good causes and considerations me hereunto moving, have and do hereby name, make, and in my stead and place put and constitute jointly or severally my true and lawful attorney revokable for me; in my name, and for my use, to ask, claim, demand, recover, and receive of and from the Right Honourable her Majesty's Paymaster-General, General of her Majesty's Forces, or whom else it may concern, all and singular such salary, wages, tickets, bounty money, prize money, short-allowance money, smart money, pension, and all other sum or sums of money whatsoever, as now is or at any time or times hereafter shall be due, payable, or belonging unto me, for my own or any other service or otherwise, in any of her Majesty's ships, frigates, or vessels, or any merchant ship or ships; and also, of all other person or persons whatsoever, all and singular such other sum or sums of money, salary, wages, goods, wares, merchandise, freights, profits, rents and arrears of rent, debts, dues, claims, and demands whatsoever, which now is or at any time or times hereafter shall be due, owing and payable, and belonging unto me by any ways or means, right or title whatsoever; and also to indorse, negotiate, and sell all navy, victualling, and other bill or bills, note or notes of hand, that may be made payable or in anywise due or belonging unto me howsoever; giving and hereby granting unto my said attorney stitutes and assigns, all my authority and lawful power in the premises for receiving, recovering, obtaining,
