FISHERIES.

Limited to 7 years. By act 12th May, 1800, the above act was continued for ten years from 3d March, 1800-thence to end next Ses. Con. ensuing. Repealed 3d March, 1807.

An act laying certain duties upon snuff and refined sugar.

Limited to two years, and from thence to the end of the

next session of Congress. Extended by 20th sec. of an
act of 3d March, 1795, to March 1, 1801.—This act
of course expired March 1, 1801; the prohibition of
drawback on foreign manufactured tobacco and snuff
ceased on same day.

An act to continue in force for a limited time, the act 30th May, 1796, therein mentioned. Continues for two years the act for mitigating and remitting forfeitures, passed 26th May, 1790; and the 13th section of the act entitled, "An act making further provision for securing and collecting the duties on foreign and domestic distilled spirits, stills, wines, and teas," passed 5th June, 1794. The said last mentioned act continued until the end of the sixth session of Congress, see act 7th April, 1798, and repealed by acts 2d March, 1799, and the act of 6th April, 1802, repealing the internal taxes.
