false witnesses risen up against me, the man that putteth his trust in and such as speak wrong.

I should utterly have fainted: but that I believe verily to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

O tarry thou the Lord's leisure: be strong, and He shall comfort thine heart; and put thou thy trust in the Lord.

PSALM 84.

HOW amiable are Thy dwellings Thou Lord of hosts! My soul hath a desire and longing to enter into the courts of the Lord my heart and my flesh rejoice in the living God.

Yea, the sparrow hath found her an house, and the swallow a nest where she may lay her young: even Thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God.

Blessed are they that dwell in Thy house they will be alway praising Thee.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in Thee in whose heart are Thy ways.

:

Who going through the vale of misery use it for a well and the pools are filled with water.

They will go from strength to strength and unto the God of gods appeareth every one of them in Sion.

O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer hearken, O God of Jacob. Behold, O God our defender and look upon the face of Thine Anointed.

For one day in Thy courts better than a thousand.

I had rather be a door-keeper in the house of my God: than to dwell in the tents of ungodliness.

For the Lord God is a light and defence the Lord will give grace and worship, and no good thing Ishall He withhold from them that live a godly life.

Thee.

When the ungodly are green as the grass, and when all the workers of wickedness do flourish : then shall they be destroyed for ever; but Thou, Lord, art the Most Highest for evermore.

For lo, Thine enemies, O Lord, lo, Thine enemies shall perish: and all the workers of wickedness shall be destroyed.

But mine horn shall be exalted like the horn of an unicorn: for I am anointed with fresh oil.

Mine eye also shall see his lust of mine enemies: and mine ear shall hear his desire of the wicked that arise up against me.

The righteous shall flourish like a palm-tree and shall spread abroad like a cedar in Libanus.

Such as are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of the house of our God.

:

They also shall bring forth more fruit in their age and shall be fat and well-liking.

That they may shew how true the Lord my strength is: and that there O Lord God of hosts: blessed is is no unrighteousness in Him.

PSALM 28.

[NTO Thee will I cry, O Lord my strength: think no scorn of me; lest, if Thou make as though Thou hearest not, I become like them that go down into the pit.

Hear the voice of my humble petitions, when I cry unto Thee: when I hold up my hands towards the mercy-seat of Thy holy temple.

O pluck me not away, neither destroy me with the ungodly and wicked doers which speak friendly to their neighbours, but imagine mischief in their hearts.

:

Reward them according to their deeds and according to the wickedness of their own inventions.

:

Recompense them after the work of their hands: pay them that they have deserved.

For they regard not in their mind the works of the Lord, nor the operation of His hands: therefore shall He break them down, and not build them up.

Praised be the Lord for He hath heard the voice of my humble petitions.

The Lord is my strength, and my shield; my heart hath trusted in Him, and I am helped : therefore my heart danceth for joy, and in my song will I praise Him.

The Lord is my strength : and He is the wholesome defence of His Anointed.

O save Thy people, and give Thy blessing unto Thine inheritance feed them, and set them up for ever.

v. 23.

PRAISE the Lord, ye that fear Him magnify Him, all ye of the seed of Jacob, and fear Him, all ye seed of Israel;

For He hath not despised, nor abhorred, the low estate of the poor : He hath not hid His face from him, but when he called unto Him He heard him.

My praise is of Thee in the great congregation: my vows will I perform in the sight of them that fear Him.

The poor shall eat, and be satisfied they that seek after the Lord shall praise Him; your heart shall live for ever.

All the ends of the world shall remember themselves, and be turned unto the Lord : and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before Him.

For the kingdom is the Lord's: and He is the Governor among the people.

All such as be fat upon earth: have eaten and worshipped.

All they that go down into the dust shall kneel before Him and no man hath quickened his own soul.

My seed shall serve Him they shall be counted unto the Lord for a generation.

They shall come, and the heavens shall declare His righteousness: unto a people that shall be born, whom the Lord hath made. Then all say,

BELIEVE in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth:

And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead, and buried; He

descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy Catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.

The glory of the city and temple in heaven.

From the Revelations of St. John the Divine.

And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee for in My wrath I smote thee, but in My favour have I had mercy on thee. Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted. The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir-tree, the pinetree, and the box together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; and

wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And He said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be My son. . . . . And there came unto me one of the seven angels. ... And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles. And the building of the wall of it was of jasper and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. . . . . And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it : for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

The preaching of the Gospel, through Christ's ordained ministers, predicted and commanded. From the Book of the Prophet Isaiah, and from the Holy Gospel according to St. Matthew.

THE Spirit of the Lord is upon

me;

that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified. And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. But ye shall be named the priests of the Lord: men shall call you the ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.

2 And Jesus came and spake unto His eleven disciples, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore into all the world, and preach the Gospel. to every creature, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
