Bow

Then he says the following Psalm:
PSALM 86.

down Thine ear, O Lord,
and hear me : for I am poor,

and in misery.

Preserve Thou my soul, for I am holy my God, save Thy servant that putteth his trust in Thee.

Be merciful unto me, O Lord for I will call daily upon Thee. Comfort the soul of Thy servant; for unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

For Thou, Lord, art good and gracious and of great mercy unto all them that call upon Thee. Give ear, Lord, unto my prayer: and ponder the voice of my humble desires.

In the time of my trouble I will call upon Thee: for Thou hearest

me.

Among the gods there is none like unto Thee, O Lord: there is not one that can do as Thou doest. All nations whom Thou hast

made shall come and worship Thee, O Lord and shall glorify Thy

name.

For Thou art great, and doest wondrous things: Thou art God alone.

Teach me Thy way, O Lord, and I will walk in Thy truth: O knit my heart unto Thee, that I may fear Thy name.

I will thank Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart and will praise thy Name for evermore.

For great is Thy mercy toward me and Thou hast delivered my soul from the nethermost hell.

O God, the proud are risen against me and the congregations of naughty men have sought after my soul, and have not set Thee before their eyes.

But Thou, O Lord God, art full of compassion and mercy: longsuffering, plenteous in goodness and truth.

O turn Thee then unto me, and good, that they who hate me may have mercy upon me give Thy see it, and be ashamed : because strength unto Thy servant, and Thou, Lord, hast holpen me, and help the son of Thine handmaid. comforted me.

mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on Him to life everlasting. Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Jews went forth to meet Christ with palm branches in their hands, so we and all Thy faithful people may go forth to meet Him with good works, and by Him enter into eternal joy, who liveth and reigneth with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end.

PSALM 140.

ELIVER me, O Lord, from the evil man and preserve me from the wicked man.

Who imagine mischief in their hearts and stir up strife all the day long.

:

They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent: adder's poison is under their lips.

Keep me, O Lord, from the hands of the ungodly preserve me from the wicked men who are purposed to overthrow my goings.

The proud have laid a snare for me, and spread a net abroad with cords yea, and set traps in my

way.

I said unto the Lord, Thou art my God hear the voice of my prayers, O Lord.

my health: Thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

Let not the ungodly have his desire, O Lord : let not his mischievous imagination prosper, lest they be too proud.

Let the mischief of their own lips fall upon the head of them : that compass me about.

Let hot burning coals fall upon them let them be cast into the fire, and into the pit, that they never rise up again.

A man full of words shall not prosper upon the earth evil shall hunt the wicked person to overthrow him.

Sure I am that the Lord will avenge the poor and maintain the cause of the helpless.

The righteous also shall give thanks unto Thy Name and the O Lord God, Thou strength of just shall continue in Thy sight.

'NOW in the morning as Jesus and said unto them, Verily I say

returned into the city, He hungered. And when He saw a fig-tree in the way, He came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig-tree withered away. And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled,

unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig-tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer believing, ye shall receive.

yet against their wickedness.

Let their judges be overthrown in stony places that they may hear my words, for they are sweet. Our bones lie scattered before the pit like as when one breaketh and heweth wood upon the earth.

:

But mine eyes look unto Thee, O Lord God: in Thee is my trust, O cast not out my soul.

Keep me from the snare that they have laid for me and from the traps of the wicked doers.

Let the ungodly fall into their own nets together: and let me ever escape them.
