GARLAND OF POETRY
FOR THE YOUNG.
A SELECTION IN FOUR PARTS.
MRS. C. M. KIRKLAND.
TWO VOLUMES IV ONE.
Entered, according to Act of Congress, in the year 1863, by
CHARLES SCRIBNER, In the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the United States for
the Southern District of New York,
JOHN F. TROW, PRINTER, STEREOTYPER, AND ELECTROTYPER,
50 Greete street, New York.
This Selection of Poetry first appeared as “ The School Girl's Garland," but the universal popularity which it reached, proved this to be a restricted designation; and in issuing this new edition the publishers have given it a title more in accordance with its actual scope. In order to secure for the collection the large sale wbich its merits deserve, the two volumes of the original edition are here brought into one, and the price of the work has been reduced.
