Page 128 - I use the Pinus Canadensis, in small doses, in pneumonia, bronchitis, typhoid fever; indeed, where the mucous membranes need a tonic, and recognizing the similarity between mucous membranes and the external skin, I use it in erysipelas, nervous forms of eczema, and wherever the skin needs a tonic. It is all I need in many cases of ophthalmia and gonorrhea.
