AMENDMENTS TO STATE CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFICATION

REQUESTS FOR CHANGES IN THE STATE CIVIL SERVICE RULES AND

AMENDMENTS TO STATE CIVIL SERVICE RULES

Rule VII

Resolved, That, subject to the approval of the Governor, Rule VII be amended by adding after the grading for County Court, County of Queens, the following:

“In the Supreme Court, County of Richmond, positions shall be graded as follows:

Grade A. Court officers or court attendants, salaries from $1200 to $1800 per annum, inclusive.

Grade B. Clerks and assistant clerks, salaries from $2000 to $4000 per annum.

Promotion from Grade A to Grade B will be allowed upon competitive examination."

(Adopted February 3, 1912. Approved by the Governor February 15, 1912.)

Resolved, That, subject to the approval of the Governor, Civil Service Rule VII be amended by striking out the following: "In the Supreme Court, County of Queens, positions shall be graded as follows:

Grade A. Court officers or court attendants, salaries from $1500 to $1800 per annum, inclusive.

Grade B.

Clerks and assistant clerks, salaries $2000 to

$4000 per annum.

Promotions from Grade A to Grade B will be allowed upon competitive examination,"

and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

"In the Supreme Court, County of Queens, positions shall be graded as follows:

Grade A. Court officers or court attendants, salaries from $1500 to $2000 per annum, inclusive.

Grade B. Clerks and assistant clerks, salaries $2000 to $4000 per annum.

Grade C. Court interpreters, salaries $1500 to $2500 per

annum.

Promotions from Grade A to Grade B will be allowed upon competitive examination."

AMENDMENTS TO STATE CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFI

CATION

Board of Elections, Erie County

Resolved, That, subject to the approval of the Governor, the classification of positions in the exempt class, office of Board of Elections, Erie county, be amended by adding thereto the words "assistant chief clerk," competitive or non-competitive examination for said position being found to be not practicable. (Adopted January 4, 1912. Approved by the Governor January 24, 1912.)

Board of Port Wardens

Resolved, That, subject to the approval of the Governor, the classification of positions in the exempt class in the office of the Board of Port Wardens, be amended by striking out the words 'the collector," thereby transferring said position to the competitive class, competitive examination for the position now being considered practicable.

(Adopted January 4, 1912. January 24, 1912.).

Board of Elections, Oneida County

Resolved, That, subject to the approval of the Governor, the classification of positions in the exempt class in the office of the Board of Elections, Oneida county, be amended by adding thereto the words "one deputy clerk," competitive or non-competitive examination for said position being found to be not practicable. (Adopted January 4, 1912. Approved by the Governor January 24, 1912.)

State Teachers Retirement Fund Board Resolved, That, subject to the approval of the Governor, and in accordance with the provision of section 13, subdivision 2, of the Civil Service Law, the classification of positions in the exempt class, State service, be amended by adding thereto the following:

"In the office of the State Teachers Retirement Fund Board: The secretary."
