In these Lessons a connected view of the Fall and Redemption is presented in a very

small

compass. Wherever it was possible, the Author has made use of the words of Scripture: carefully avoiding those passages to which a child might attach a wrong sense. The few Notes which are inserted are intended to create a taste at an early age for a rational interpretation of the Bible: and the Questions are so arranged as not only
