THE SALT SPRINGS LAW.

AN ACT relating to salt springs, constituting chapter thirteen of the general laws.

The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

SECTION 1. Short title.- This chapter shall be known

2 as the salt springs law.

§ 2. Definitions.-The term, Onondaga reservation, 2 when used in this chapter, shall include all the lands 3 situate in the county of Onondaga containing salt 4 springs or used for the manufacture of salt, or owned 5 by the people of the state and adjacent thereto or con6 nected therewith, or set apart for such purposes by the 7 commissioners of the land office.

8 The term, manufacturer, when used in this chapter, 9 shall include every corporation, company or individual 10 having the direction, charge or control of a manufactory 11 whether as owner, proprietor or lessee thereof.
