PUBLIC BUILDINGS LAW.

REVISERS' NOTE.

The following chapter of the revision, to be known as the Public Buildings Law, includes all existing statutes prescribing the powers and duties of the trustees and superintendent of public buildings, the capitol commissioner and the supervising commissioners. (R. S., 8th ed., pp. 655-669.)

It also comprises the statutes providing for the care and preservation of the property known as Washington's Headquarters in the city of Newburgh (id., pp. 670-672), and for the Senate House property at Kingston (id., p. 675). There are included the acts providing for State control of the New York State Soldiers and Sailors' Home (id., pp. 673–675).

Statutes

A number of acts relating to the State Hall and Old Capitol are not included in, and are repealed by the revision. authorizing the erection of the New Capitol, and various provisions regulating the work of such erection are repealed as obsolete and superfluous.

With the exception of the repeal of these acts, the substance of the laws relating to public buildings has not been changed.

THE PUBLIC BUILDINGS LAW.

AN ACT relating to public buildings constituting chapter fifteen of the general laws.

The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:
