The College is on a hill top, four miles from Boston, combining the advantages of country and city. It offers to the students in all its departments the best methods of instruction, and the various facilities requisite for a thorough education, at a moderate cost. A new departure is the award of the bachelor's degree on the basis of attainment instead of the number of years spent in college. Great freedom of election is permitted in the new courses, which provide both for general culture and for specialization in a chosen subject and its related studies. DEPARTMENTS.
