Other Information.-In July, 1897, the Mission at Ambler was placed under the charge of the Rev. Lyman P. Powell, who was appointed by the Bishop to act as Missionary under the supervision of the Rector of St. Thomas' Church. In February, 1898, the Ambler Mission had so far prospered that it was able to relinquish the financial aid of the White Marsh Parish, and to apply for recognition as a Mission of the Diocese. Trinity Mission, as it is now called, is no longer connected with our Parish. The report of the Missionary will show the remarkable progress that has been made.

Other Information.-A fire occurred in St. John's November 17, 1897, causing a loss of nearly $6000; covered by insurance. The vestry and the congregation took steps to greatly improve the Church, and have raised a sufficient sum to warrant the expenditure of about twice that amount, making the Church much better adapted to its sacred uses.

Two Missionary boxes were sent by the ladies.
