This is a surgical, gynecological and obstetrical Hospital; situated on high grounds in the resident district in Memphis and overlooking beautiful Forrest Park.

The building is new, large and commodious; it is elegantly furnished, fire-proof in construction, and has been designed especially for the purposes for which it is to be used. It is heated by the hot-water system, with provision for the admission of fresh air to each room separately. It is lighted by gas and electricity.

The rooms for patients are large, all outside, and each one is provided with hard-wood floor, electric lights and bells, and every other arrangement which seems adapted to secure the comfort, seclusion and safety of the patients. Besides the private rooms, there are wards intended for patients whose circumstances are such that they can not afford a private room.

Well-trained nurses will give the patients the best care and attention.

The Hospital is reached by the Madison Avenue cars, getting off at Dunlap Street and going south two blocks.
