INDEX.

There is no index in this volume because there is a later index which you should use.

It is in your latest number. It is revised and reprinted each month.

It is a complete index to the latest treatment of all subjects, and with the continuous citation feature covers all volumes and numbers.

It refers by volume and page to the latest treatment of your subject.

It starts you right because it gives you the latest law first. It saves your time because the references are direct by volume and page to what you seek.

It prevents your missing anything because in connection with the latest treatment there are back references from the section headings and italic catch lines to the same sections or catch lines in the preceding volume from which similar references refer to earlier volumes. These back references are also called the continuous citation feature.

Illustration: On a question concerning satisfaction of mortgage. In the latest topical index you find "Satisfaction and Release, see Mortgages 6, 699." Turning to that page you find the latest law, and from the catch line "Payment, release or satisfaction" you are referred to 4 Current Law, p. 699, for the next earlier treatment, and from there by a like reference you are taken to 2 Current Law, p. 923. Thus, four years' decisions on a narrow subdivision of a subject are placed before you in thirty seconds.
