4to, Black Letter, bound in full dark green morocco, gilt back, ornamented borders, gilt edges. ARMS of LORD STRANGFORD stamped on sides. Title printed within an elaborate woodcut border. Title and last leaf strengthened at inside margins. SIR FRANCIS FREELING'S COPY, WITH HIS BOOKPLATE. On a fly-leaf is A NOTE IN SIR FRANCIS'S HANDWRITING in which he states that "FEW EARLY PIECES ARE OF MORE RARE OCCURRENCE THAN THIS OF ROBINSON'S." Contains COMMENDATORY POEM "A Praife of the Bowe" by THOMAS CHURCHYARD. Each of the 58 poems occupies a page, with the name of the Knight at head, and is printed within an ornamental border.

CHOICE COPY OF AN EXCESSIVELY RARE WORK. NO MENTION OF IT IS MADE BY MR. HAZLITT. The ONLY OTHER COPY which can be traced was that in the collection of SIR M. M. SYKES.
