So the motion for a call of the House was not agreed to.
At the request of the Speaker, by unanimous consent,

Ordered, That the Clerk request the Senate to return to the House of Representatives, for correction of an error in the message to the Senate of the action of the House thereon, the bill of the House (H. R. 8138) making appropriations for the service of the Post-Office Department for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1886, and for other purposes.

Mr. William F. Rogers, by unanimous consent, from the Committee on Printing, to which was referred the following resolution, reported the same without amendment, viz:

Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That there be printed at the Government Printing Office 5,000 copies of the report of Captain M. A. Healey, United States Revenue Marine, upon the cruise of the revenue steamer Corwin in the Arctic Ocean in the year 1884, and its accompanying documents and illustrations, of which 1,000 copies shall be for the use of the Senate, 2,000 for the use of the House, and 2,000 for the use of the Treasury Department.

The House baving proceeded to its consideration, the said resolution was read and agreed to.

Mr. Rogers moved to reconsider the vote last taken, and also moved that the motion to reconsider be laid on the table; which latter motion was agreed to.

Ordered, That the Clerk request the concurrence of the Senate in the said resolution.

Mr. Samuel H. Miller, as a privileged question, moved to reconsider the vote by which the House refused to order a call of the House; Pending which,

Mr. Dunham moved to lay the said motion to reconsider on the table; And the question being put,

A message from the Senate, by Mr. McCook, their Secretary:

Mr. Speaker: The Senate have passed without amendment bills of the House of the following titles, viz:

H. R. 8183. An act to remove the political disabilities of W. H. Murdaugh, of Virginia.

H. R. 754. An act for the relief of Nathan H. Dunphe, of Bridgewater, in the State of Massachusetts.

H. R. 8102. An act to give assent of Congress for the construction of a railroad bridge by the East and Middle Tennessee Railroad Company over the Cumberland and Caney Fork Rivers.

I am directed by the Senate to return to the House of Representatives, in compliance with its request, the bill of the House (H. R. 8138) making appropriations for the service of the Post-Office Department for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1886, and for other purposes, with amendments of the Senate thereto.

At the suggestion of the Speaker, by unanimous consent, it was Ordered, That the said bill and amendments of the Senate be returned to the Senate with the corrected statement that the House agrees to the conference asked by the Senate on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses on the said amendments, with the same conferrees previously appointed.

Mr. Neece, from the Committee on Enrolled Bills, reported that the committee had examined and found duly enrolled bills of the House of the following titles, viz:

H. R. 7785. An act making appropriations for the payment of invalid and other pensions of the United States for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1886, and for other purposes;

H. R. 754. An act for the relief of Nathan H. Dunphe, of Bridgewater, in the State of Massachusetts;
