SUMMER SCHOOL OF COOKERY AND VACATION OUTING COMBINED Mrs. Hill's Summer School of Cookery at "Topo Pino" South Chatham, N. H. Opens Wednesday, July 2nd, for the Sixteenth Season First Lesson of the Session is given Thursday Morning, July 3rd The school is for beginners in cooking, for housekeepers, college girls, for teachers who are desirous of adding to their knowledge of cookery and dietetics, and for women taking up Tea Room work. Special attention will be given to canning fruit and vegetables and making marmalade and jelly. Daily practice in actual cooking for a family of from 20 to 30 will be provided. Instruction is given in the art of giving demonstrations in cooking, and opportunity is offered for the actual giving of demonstrations by the pupils. Miss Ada Hillier, supervisor of the Department of Household Arts, South Bend, Indiana, will preside at conferences for the benefit of teachers interested in any of the household arts. A well-filled ice house, a plentiful supply of milk, fresh eggs and berries, renders work in all varieties of frozen dishes a possibility for each day of the season.
