The report of the subcommittee of the committee on the judiciary, appointed pursuant to the following resolution adopted April 11, 1894: Resolved, That the chairman of the judiciary committee, together with Senators Saxton and McMahon, be, and they are hereby appointed a subcommittee of the judiciary committee of the Senate, and as such subcommittee are hereby authorized and empowered to investigate all the charges referred to in the said memorial of the Civil Service Reform Association of the city of New York and other cities, in connection with the administration of the act entitled "An act to regulate and improve the civil service of the State of New York," and such other charges and alleged violations of law as may be brought before the said committee in connection with the alleged viola |
