*The Census Report of 1870 contains the following additional arrastras in this county: The Cersus Report contains the mill of the Delphi Mining Company, with ten stamps, driven b steam power, and that of the Kern River Mining Company, with sixteen stamps and one crusher, also moved by steam, neither of which I can identify in the above list. Walker's, with two arrastras, (gold,) are also in this county; in the same report Williams's is a five-stamp mill. In the above list the mills of the Idaho Company, at Grass Valley, containing fifteen stamps, and that of the Greenhern Company, eight stamps, appear to be omitted.
