Out of a total of 1,341 manufacturing establishments in the United States 115 employ a capital of over $10,000,000, but less than $20,000,000; 31 a capital of over $20,000,000, but less than $50,000,000; 9 a capital over $50.000,000, but less than $100,000,000; 8 a capital of $100,000,000, but less than $500,000,000, and but 3, 1 each in New York, Chicago and Philadelphia, a capital of $500,000,000 or upwards. |
