AN ACT to release to the "Sisters of the Precious Blood" all the right, title and interest of the people of the state of New York in and to certain real estate in the borough of Brooklyn, county of Kings and city and state of New York.

Became a law February 27, 1899, with the approval of the Governor. Passed, by a two-thirds vote.

The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assembly, do enact as follows:

Section 1. All the estate, right, title and interest of the people of the state of New York acquired by escheat, forfeiture or otherwise of, in and to all those certain lots, pieces or parcels of land, situate, lying and being in the borough (late city) of Brooklyn, county of Kings and state of New York, known and distinguished on a certain map entitled "Map of property in the ninth ward of the city of Brooklyn, belonging to James and Ann Debevoise" dated Brooklyn, April, eighteen hundred and forty-nine, surveyed by Silas Ludlum, city surveyor and filed in the clerk's office of the said county of Kings, as sections twenty-âve and twenty-six, bounded and containing as follows, that is to say: Northerly in front by Putnam avenue one hundred feet, southerly in the rear by land belonging to the estate of Leffert Lefferts, deceased, about one hundred feet and six inches; westerly on one side by the easterly side of section number twenty-four on said map, distant easterly two hundred and fifty feet from the easterly side of Bedford avenue, about one hundred and sixty-three feet and ten inches and easterly on the other side by the westerly side of section.

AN ACT to release to "The Roman Catholic Church of the Most Holy Trinity of the City of Brooklyn," all the right, title and interest of the people of the state of New York, in and to certain real estate in the borough of Brooklyn, county of Kings, and city and state of New York.

Section 1. All the estate, right, title and interest of the people of the state of New York, acquired by escheat, forfeiture or otherwise, of, in and to, all that certain lot, piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in the borough of Brooklyn, late village of Williamsburgh, Kings county and state of New York, known and distinguished upon a certain map filed in the clerk's office of Kings county on the eighth day of August, eighteen hundred and thirty-eight, entitled, "Map of a piece of land situate in the village of Williamsburgh in the county of Kings, showing the same as subdivided into lots," by D. Ewen, surveyor, October, eighteen hundred and thirty-seven, as a part of lot number four hundred and fifty on said map, the said lot being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a point in the southerly line of Montrose avenue distant two hundred feet easterly from the southeasterly corner formed by the intersection of the easterly line of Ewen street with the southerly line of Montrose avenue; thence running southerly parallel with said Ewen street one hundred feet; thence easterly and parallel with said Montrose avenue twelve feet and six inches; thence northerly and again parallel with said Ewen street one hundred feet to the southerly line of Montrose avenue, and thence westerly along the southerly line of said Montrose avenue, twelve feet, six inches, to the point or place of beginning, is hereby released to and vested in the Roman Catholic Church of
