I have seen the natives washing gold on the banks of the Cauca and adjacent streams, and have also seen the gold after a heavy rain storm lying in the streets of Candeva (situated on your property). During my 14 years of service while surveying in the Klondike, California and other gold-producing districts, I saw nothing so rich as that where your Placer mine is situated, between Caceres and Raudal.
