“The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is a great novel to read because although it has a great ‘surface’ story, the deeper meaning under it is truly uplifting towards the reader.

The story is about a pilot who crashed into the sahara desert and meets a boy named the Little Prince. Throughout the book, the prince tells the pilot about all the planets he visited and people he met on his journey to earth. The great part of the prince’s journey, is that everywhere he goes and everyone he meets is full of deeper meaning and life lessons. The ending of the book is full of emotion and is by far one of the greatest moments throughout this story.

A reason why this book is different than any other book is because it is suitable for any age. Younger kids can read the book and be purely entertained by the books story, but the older the reader is the more depth they can read into this book and be left just as entertained. I recommend anyone to read this book and not be set off by it’s childish cover. The language is quite simple and the book is a very quick read. This book will hopefully leave everyone just as satisfied as it left me after reading “The Little Prince”.
