Read 2 times. Last read November 27, 2017 to November 28, 2017.
second read actual rating: 3.5 stars
“All grown-ups were once children... but only few of them remember it.”
I still am convinced that this is a 3.5 stars book, not changing my rating may actually be good, as I have read more books now and the current 3.5 is like the old 4/4.5 stars....
Enough with numbers and more about this book. The first time I read this it was because it was among lists with books that everyone should read and my definition of a good book was that it had a major plot twist, now I am sure that there is more to books than that, this book does not have a twist as much as it has an important message; we all were children once and at a certain point we hated adults, this is the perfect book for those times!!
I may need this books in the future if I have children, you never know!

3.5 Stars
It was kind of cute yet powerful.
The book could perfectly describe adulthood and different stereotypes that we see in all communities (alcoholics, monetized societies...etc) I aslo read the author's biography to know that he just had the same ending as the little prince in the desert which is queer, it is as if he was writing his own story through a child's eyes.

Yes it was light and fun to read.
I don't know, maybe it is classified as children literature and that's why it is easy.
My problem with those "everyone should read" books is that I expect very very much out of them that I may end up a little bit disappointed and I think there is something wrong with me as I didn't like them as everyone else did.
