"What the little prince did not dare confess was that he was sorry most of all to leave this planet, because it was blest every day with 1440 sunsets!"

This book was beautiful in a way that I'm not exactly sure why.

The Little Prince... Is a character that made me very sad. All alone on that planet with his fear of trees and love of sunsets because they're sad. He spoke like an adult... and this isn't a children's book. (not in the way that people say all ages can enjoy it) but because I don't think that children can understand it, or that they can appreciate it in the way that it was intended to be.

I do think that he was either an alien or a very sad mirage of the man in the desert... Either way, he had a lot of cynicism for a little boy. It made me sad and confused and the bond between the prince and the man way a very sweet one. And I hope that one day they meet each other again.
